About The Artists

Concerts run
"rain or shine"!

We prefer to have everything outdoors, both for vibe and space, but if the weather
doesn't cooperate, we'll move inside the store.

What's on deck this year:

...It's our most ambitious season! Concerts begin
JUNE 9 and run every
Tuesday until AUGUST 11. Many favorites from prior seasons will return, including The Dave Sterner Quintet,
Bill Ransom, The Sax Section, The N. Glenn Davis Quintet,
and Ernie Krivda
and the Art of the Trio
.
One Concert is a double bill: Acoustic Guitar Night
features local legend Brian Henke paired with 12-string wizard Neil Jacobs. Our "imported" act this year arrives on Singer Songwriter Night showcasing touring troubadour PJ Pacifico from Connecticut.
Opening acts for the 2009 season will begin at 7pm,
with the headliners hitting
around 7:30. If we don't
program an opening act,
the main concert
will start at 7.

2008: The Sax Section closes season 6
on a perfect summer night...

Season 7 debuts our new stage. Naming rights are again available, and WAY cheaper than those pricey stadiums. Bargain to be had, corporate America!

You're welcome to add your tailgate expertise to the show. We'll even hold extra parking spaces for anyone who wants to come in with a smoker trailer and do barbecue! No Alcohol, Please. This is a family event, not Woodstock III. That means leave the Slip 'n' Slides and Frisbees at home, too. But bring chairs or use ours, relax in your car, and enjoy the evening!

We'll again feature the work of local visual artists on the walk, plus kid activities and prize drawings.

Try to be one of the first 100 people to arrive: you'll get a number, and we've got prizes, gift certificates, and other goodies that will go to numbers drawn between acts. That means you've got a 1-in-100 chance!

Front Porch Logowear!

We know that the Front Porch name isn't unique--in fact, you'll find references to music on the "Front Porch" everywhere, from coast to coast and across all styles. The idea conveys both a sense of community and casualness that we like. Here are performances that are intimate and relaxed, yet still professional and inspiring. We present these free concerts to give everyone the opportunity to hear professionals up close, in the neighborhood, and FREE. Come out, bring a chair or use one of ours, and enjoy live music with our growing audience!

We thank the companies and organizations at right: members of the music industry who believe in live music as we do and have lent their support to this season!
