NEW SITE FEATURES

While we update some pages every few days, we're always working on additional information, publications, and functionality for this site. Every month or so another layer is added: check here for announcements of new features!

March 2009: Most of the site is being reformatted for larger screen sizes. Many areas are being completely reworked, and there are so many events in the planning stage that each week will bring new information on line. Keep checking back!

The next Acoustic Coffeehouse night is April 26 at 7:00pm, featuring NEIL JACOBS
An outgrowth of our recital programs is our new Acoustic Coffeehouse, a showcase for the songwriting (on acoustic instruments, especially guitar) skills of both our students and members of the community. Check out previous Coffeehouse video segments on our YouTube channel (skylinemusicvideo)
It's a little more organized than an open-mike night, but less formal than a recital or concert: interested players can sign up to perform ahead of time, or that night as the doors open. SInce this is a little different than some other venues out there, we've put together an FAQ sheet. You can download it though the link at right, and if you're interested in presenting some of your material, mark the date and give us a call!

Winter 2008-09: NAMM Anaheim--and with new software and laptops, we are adding and updating daily. We're converting to our 22nd anniversary theme, but more important is the integration of Google calendars throughout the site. see the lesson area for teacher vacation days and studio holidays and recitals, our Eventsarea will have a dynamic calendar with all our events integrated, and you can even track Peter Horn's schedule on the Orchestra page!
Summer 2008: NAMM Nashville, Front Porch schedule and scrapbook, Garage Sale info, and new area for marching percussion. Lesson Program's "Notes from the Studio" is now a monthly blog.

January 2008: NAMM report, and a full calendar update of all the coming events through 2008. Clinics, concerts, workshops and recitals are all plugged in.
