That's right, boys and girls: again this year, we're taking your consignments! The basic info is at left, but here are the particulars for this year:
We begin accepting your consignments JULY 14. While we'll show the instrument to someone who is looking for what you're selling before the sale, the item(s) will not be displayed UNTIL the sale.
Also, we have to stress this each year: put your bottom line price on the item. If you give us a "range" we will tag the item at the high end of the range and hope for the best. It's too hectic to do anything else.
CLEAN IT. We've had customers consign band instruments with dead bugs in the case. Trust me, neither I nor any of the staff will be removing carcasses from your consignment, and believe me when I tell you it's a turn off.
Finally, yes, you can bring an item in after the sale has started, but 60% of the sales go out in the first three hours. Snooze and lose, dudes.
SLATED TO APPEAR:
We've been hearing from people for months about what they want to bring in for the sale, but RECENTLY we've gotten wind of everything from band instruments to guitars to drumsets and even an upright bass! What actually will arrive? We NEVER know until the last minute, but this year it seems as though people are stepping back from ebay and selling local!
