Of course, sharp eyes will see the discrepancy in Glenn's billing: he super-sized his quartet into a quintet! The addition of Jack Schantz (music director of the CJO--Cleveland Jazz Orchestra for those unfamiliar with the acronym) was a pleasant surprise for the Porch crowd. This is the instrumentation Glenn will be using on the upcoming album, so the audience got a chance to hear its pre-recording debut. Rounding out the group were Front Porch favorite Dave Sterner on saxes, Demetrius Steinmetz on bass, and Dan Murphy on piano.
