Electric Guitars
We are a dealer for Aria and Austin electric guitars, which we feel are some of the best values for the dollar on the market today. Our selection of used instruments is limited to the occasional consignment or trade in; we do not buy instruments off the street. Our local customers usually jump on a vintage instrument before it even hits the sales floor, so seldom will you find anything of that nature on the wall.

Acoustic Guitars
We carry Alvarez, Alvarez Yairi, and Takamine as our main acoustic lines, with a few models from Aria (mainly Spanish Classicals) and Jasmine to fill out the selection. While we do not carry every model in each catalog, the entire line of each brand is available by special order. Check for availability on specific models. (Some photos of current stock are below--but things come in --and sell--faster than we can post them, so call for more info.)

Other Fretted Instruments
We also carry basic and intermediate mandolins and banjos from Aria and Austin. We feature a selection of Lanikai ukuleles in soprano and concert bodies, plus an occasional tenor or baritone model. Often (but not always) you can find a basic resonator (dobro-style) model guitar.

Despite the "brochure vibe" of the picture above, this is the instrument that's actually in our store, photographed on April 30, 2005. The top, originally almost white, has honeyed out nicely.

Eye-catching Koa: the AF60CK is now in stock! We've never had so many combinations of woods and body sizes
in at once: check out the variety!

Stylin': The FD60AMB sports
a quilted maple top on a fusion dreadnaught (thinline) body. Eye-catching amber stain--and it just sings through an amp!

This is one of Dan's favorite instruments--the Takamine limited edition 2001. But it's still new, and it needs a home, so we're willing to make a sacrifice. The original list price was $1999, and we tagged it at $1380 with a hardshell. We don't do the ebay thing at this point so we've never listed it there. We have a closeout price for it--but you'll have to call the store to hear what it is. (See contacts if you've a mind to do so.) How much lower? We'll only say that it's more than 15% lower than the tag price.
Details: solid spruce top, solid 2-piece rosewood back, rosewood sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck; Takamine palathetic electronics w/tuner (no DSP, predates their tube preamp). The tastefully understated dolphin inlays were part of an association with the Cousteau Society. (The 2002 featured a whale.)
